With an "application idea: remote data conversion" showing (with diagram) a Kasli + other EEMs in one large crate, then a VHDCI carrier, then cable to another VHDCI carrier in another small crate with Zotino + Sampler.

Website Content:

This carrier is an adapter to allow 8 EEM to be driven from 2 VDHCI connectors.

Front panel connections:

  • Two VHDCI connectors, each routed to 4 extension headers.
  • I2C from each VHDCI routed to TCA9548 8-ch multiplexer - one channel to each of the 4 extension headers and one to an EEPROM
  • Power supply jack

Internal connections:

  • 8 IDC connectors for EEM
  • Power supply jack
